Words from the Pastor

Edify or edification is a biblical term and means
encouragement! Romans 14:19 says, "Let us therefore
follow after the things which make for peace, and
things wherewith one may edify another." In other 
words, as Christians we are to encourage and build
up other Christians and those around us. This can
be accomplished in many ways.

Through the preaching, teaching and fellowship with
other Christians at Missionary Baptist Church we are 
encouraged in our day to day walk with the Lord. This
edification shown and displayed to others helps in 
the troubles we all face in our daily lives.

We are a friendly and compassionate church who support 
each other through Biblical answers. It is every 
Christian's duty to tell those around us of the great 
gift of salvation which is only offered through repentance 
and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Through our own personnal testimony, providing gospel
tracks, teaching home Bible studies and bringing people 
to church are ways we communicate this great opportunity
of salvation available to anyone - free.
